Zipper card

I wanted to share a card that I made using a new EK Success border punch.  I saw this border punch and my wonderful sister was able to locate it at a local store in her area.  I received the punch the other day and have had a fun time making all things ZIPPER!.  The punch is a single side punch, but when you punch two, they go together quite well.  The paper I used was cardstock  covered with foil, but I also have used a silver marker and colored basic paper to make it look like the teeth of a zipper.  I took some ribbon and sewed it to the edge of zipper paper so it looks like the real thing.
This was a fun card and I hope you enjoy it as much as I have.
Have a Good Day.

Dimensional Fun

I wanted to share the Mothers Day card that I sent this year.  After I started working on them, I thought,"hm" what if I find a shadow box frame to put the card in.  Well, have you ever had a good idea in your head and then tried to actually find the supplies to complete your idea???  I seem to do this all the time and then just can't find what I want.  So after my looking at the one local store here in my area, I found a fun glass insert frame that I mounted the card on.  I made only a card front and them attached to the front of the glass, then I put a nice paper on the back side to finish everything off.
Here are two that I did.

These cards used Honey Comb paper and a Tim Holtz Die. Really very simple and looked great when I finished.  Enjoy.  Nancy

MIA-so sorry!

I have been a little MIA lately.  It just seems that I couldn't catch up after the Easter Pageant at church.  I did about 10 loads of laundry preparing the costumes to go back into storage. Finished!  Then our church also sponsors a brunch for Mother Day where we decorate tables for about 300.  I usually decorate 6 -8 tables every year and this year I had 7.  We are supposed to provide a nice centerpiece with a theme and then table service for 6 people.  Some people do paper products, but I usually take the real stuff.  So, to say the least I spent several days sorting my stuff and getting everything ready.  I decided to share one of my centerpieces with you today.
This was a sweet and fru-fru table.

Thanks for stopping by and I'm off to get more cards ready to publish.
