Tulle Shaker Cards

Tulle Shaker cards are very popular now because they are pretty, easy to make and have a low profile for mailing.  I just finished teaching a class with 5 cards and would like to share the card that I think was the easiest and actually one of my favorites.

This card features the Grid Collage #1727 from poppy stamps.
I have several dies from this company and they are so versatile. I continue to choose one of these dies from my stash when I need a quick card that results in a "Wow" factor.
This idea would be great to mass produce and then have in your stockpile so all you have to do is add a sentiment when you need a card in a hurry.
I hope you try this idea and thanks for spending a few minutes here at my blog today.

Have a great day!

Out of the Box Copic Coloring

I want to share a couple of cards from a recent Copic class I taught at
Scrapmania in Cedar Rapids
The images were printed on Watercolor paper so that I could get a blending effect resembling the succulents.  Also, using unexpected marker colors help to achieve the effect that I wanted.

Art Gone Wild - Succulents Bracket Frame AGC3-2829

The Copic Markers used on these cards were:
BV23-BV21-Y04-YG91-BG000-BG11-G20-G40

I hope these will encourage you to step out of the box and use Copic Markers that you normally would'nt think of putting together.

Hope you have a Great Day!!
I'm off to teach a class.

Happy To Be Back and Sharing

I've taken some time away from the Blog world the past year and have realized how much I missed being out of the loop.  Although I have not been blogging that doesn't mean I've been laying around eating bonbons.  I have a new grandson, my daughter is engaged and getting married this August and I have been teaching classes at my local scrapbook store here in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.  Scrapmania is a fantastic store and Stacy keeps her inventory current with all the latest products, if she doesn't have what you want she will order it.

I teach Copic classes and lots and lots of card classes.  I absolutely love what I get to do and all the fantastic people I get to meet.

Today I'm starting a new series of beginning Copic classes that will run June through December.   Tomorrow I have 2 classes using tulle for shaker cards.  There is still space available if anyone is interested in attending, all you have to do is call the store to reserve your space.
