Happy Fall from the HoneyPop Squirrel

Well I told you the other day that I've been working with my many HoneyPop stamps to see if I could find different ways to use them.
Well I pulled out this fun Squirrel set and started playing.

So this is the front of the card.  I decided to make the Honey Comb Acorn the center of the card.  Adding a few fun layers of scrap to the base.  I stamped all the images from the set and stamped several extra small acorns.  I took the opportunity to use several of my favorite Amuse' Studio papers and the large banner thats been in my stash for a few weeks.
I rarely do anything to the inside of my cards, as I like to keep them clean and simple.  Well, this time I had several images left after I stamped and colored them all, so I added them to the inside.

I love this little squirrel.  He would normally holding the Honey Comb acorn, but he works just fine holding the other one I colored.
I hope you like my take on this project.
Have a great Sunday.
Nancy

  1. Gorgeous little squirrel. I have only one Inky Antic stamp that uses the honeycomb paper, but I have yet to try it out. I think you just gave the push I needed :) I love the effect of the honeycomb paper on your card!

  2. Thanks for your comment. I used to teach a lot of classes and the HoneyPop ones were always a hit. There are a few tricks if you out the Honey Comb on the inside of the card. I believe there are good instructions on the Inky Antic website, but if you decide you are going to try some of the stamps let me know. I might be able to help you through the process. They have lots of fun stamps and color combos.
